She was born just like any other baby. came out of the womb, screaming with cries. Blonde hair that complimented her blue eyes the color of a radiant summer’s sky. The only thing that separated her from others was that she couldn’t hear and see. yes, as the doctors resigned, they stated that the young child was both deaf and blind. She grew up, handicapped, as they called it. her world consisted of lurid blacks and the sounds she heard were similar to people’s silenced nights. she molded herself into a fine young lady, though she was deprived of 2 of the senses she never blamed god for her dispenses. Intelligent, breathed divinity, for a woman with infinite possibilities, she was supreme in her dreams, as the rest of the world, as sad as it seems, perceived her as a malfunction.
All but one, cringed and grew piteous when they knew. but that’s the type of love that was pure and true. he loved her, despite what the world saw. Loved her for her being, loved her for her all. they conversed using braille and he not once thought of her as “ail.” he fell in love with the way her mind worked the wonders of her universe, and how in her world everybody wasn’t diverse. In skin, in pitch, in perspective .. and her perspective on life was, the least to say, beautiful.
She could not see the blood stained dirt, she could not hear the cries of this world’s hurt. She did not know what hate was, therefor she’s doesn’t know what it does. She was oblivious to this defiled world and all it’s content of putridness and corruption and though it was ignorant bliss, there were no interruptions. no interferences, no influences. her mind grew according to the world that she knew, and she saw it as ..perfect.
although it was of her knowledge that she was diametric to the multitude, she was unaware of this world and all it’s crude. the world saw her for her imperfections that she could not avail. her mind, body, and soul, unlike the rest, prevailed. they saw she was born with a defection? wrong. i think this world is the one that’s defected and she defines perfection.
